Bachelor of Law since 1999, Mr. Stancu is a lawyer at the Bucharest Bar Association since 2000. Starting 2001, he attended the Management Faculty of the Academy of Economic Studies, and in 2005 the post-graduate private law courses of the University of Bucharest.

He has developed a commercial lawyer experience at Coface Romania from 2000 to 2006 as a Legal Manager where he has managed a consistent portfolio of cases representing the interests of domestic and international clients in numerous commercial litigation and arbitration or insolvency.

Later, Mr. Stancu has coordinated the legal team of the Legal Debt Recovery department of Rompetrol Group for two and a half years. Since 2008, he has been collaborating lawyer at Budusan & Associates, as a specialist in commercial litigation and arbitration, insolvency proceedings.

Mr. Stancu was a lecturer at seminars organized in Paris and Vienna for foreign investors about Romanian commercial legislation, as well as at a series of financial and banking conferences, organized in Romania and abroad.

Since 2010 he is also an insolvency practitioner and member of UNPIR.
